Video is clear during the day and night. These are great cameras. The local 8GB of permanent storage is ridiculous, I would just rather have a removable SD slot.Having to use only a phone APP is horrible because you have to download the videos to your phone and then transfer them to your PC. It is made for the homebase for max storage, but then you’re dependent on the Wi-Fi of the homebase and if you own 100’s of acres you aren’t able to extend it. I mostly use them as Game camera’s which is really not their intent, so I have the motion turned all the way up. Though if you live in the country, it could literally scare the crap out of you if you trusted it. It is constantly alerting me that wild animals and even spiders as “Humans Spotted”. Other than that, I like it because the AI tracking is awesome. If it thinks the deer are humas it will track them all over the place.Vehicles in my driveway are too fast for the motion sensing; they catch the backend of the vehicle most of the time. They do try to track it, but runs out of room, so you have to really think about how you mount them if you’re trying to track.It does a great job of tracking people. If you walk into view, you’re on camera everywhere.The only real drawback is that the 3X is basically useless if you mount them by the directions. For it to sense motion it says it can only be about 7-10 feet high. When you zoom in, you’re basically just seeing the dirt and can’t shift the camera high enough to see anything further than a few feet away from the camera. It’s almost as if the up and down motion is backwards. Anything you would need to zoom in on you can’t shift up high enough to see.
Love This Camera. I needed a security camera that would have a view of my driveway as well as my property. This Eufy camera fits the bill. They give you everything you need to set up the camera. You have a choice of mounting the solar panel separately or on top of the camera. I chose to mount it on top of the camera. The set up to the internet was quick and flawless. As per the instructions I fully charged the camera before it was mounted. I purchased a metal ring that tightens with a screw and was able to weave it through the plastic mount provided. I had to mount the camera on a 2×4 that was there from my previous camera. It mounted with ease. The camera lets you know when a vehicle or person enters your property. It follows you as you go past. It records the events and notifies you when it detects something. The camera can be adjusted to your specific needs. The camera also lets you know that it is fully charged so you know the solar panel is working. The night vision is clear and concise. The microphone is sensitive enough to pick up bird and bug sounds. It is easy to remove by pinching the side clips together. I am pleased with this purchase. I would not hesitate to buy another one if I needed it. I highly recommend this camera for ease of use and quality. It is an economical way to secure your property and give you peace of mind.

Home Security Camera. Easy to install and connect to phone. Recordings are available to download/save to phone. You can zoom in and out. No subscription is needed. Has a solar panel to charge the device and also a usb c cord for charge. Quality is clear and picks up on any tiny movement. Sends alerts right away to mobile device when anything is detected. It can pick up on cars passing by, cats & dogs, people.. etc. A lot of useful options on the mobile app. Definitely a good home security camera.
BUY THIS – NOT THE RING CAMERA. I am a single woman living alone in an area that isn’t great. The peace of mind, better sleep, and overall quality of living this camera has offered me is worth every penny. My only regret is that I didn’t buy this sooner and instead purchased the Ring, which was a nightmare. Be warned if you’re comparing between the two: the Ring app is convoluted with social media features, including reels. I was bombarded with city-wide notifications from other users. It also forced me to enter my home address to utilize the security camera (Eufy does NOT do this!) without disclosing I would also be signing up for local updates from other users (including posts about their dogs that their Ring camera captured). It was extremely invasive and such a massive time sink trying to unsubscribe from everything that I could no longer continue with the camera. I also had to jump through hoops to remove all my information. Between the Ring camera complications and emotional distress of home security, I gave up and returned it. With this Eufy camera, the only notifications you’ll get are the necessary ones pertaining to your immediate point of interest, wherever the camera is recording. You control fully where it points and can even browse around remotely with its fluid rotation, even directly below it. It is truly a perfect utilitarian camera with an easy to navigate, understand, minimal, and gorgeous interface.
Bought this for an area a fair distance from my WiFi router, and no power. This has been the perfect camera for the area.Camera is used to watch my sheep lambing, and some nights the camera is used extensively. The solar panel always keeps the camera fully charged, so never a problem with using the camera a night. The night vision is also pretty clear.The WiFi is also pretty sketchy at that location, and again, the camera does a great job picking up the WiFi.This camera has been moved to different locations many times, and is easy to reposition.Great camera…bought a 2nd one!
Great quality camera. This camera has great clarity and features. Gets charged and stays charged via solar and works on Alexa screens and your phone. Love this camera.
