If a Dremel was an IPhone. Stylish, portable with a carrying case, comes with accessories and all and yes it CAN do a lot of things, but there are compromises. Here’s the summary, yes it can polish, cut, and do anything a regular dremel does. But it WILL do things slower, with no option for corded use, and a lengthy recharge time on a charging base that you may lose in the future. The motor and battery of this rotary tool isn’t up for any large job, it’s just good for ordinary hobbyists that would rather go for a small form factor battery rotary tool, it does good in that part but I modify headlights and this thing cannot cut ABS continuously for an entire headlight without feeling like it’ll overheat.Pros: Looks cool, easy to use, has all the attachments you’d want in the box already, wireless, does have a charging base.Cons: not powerful, $100 cost when you can get a dremel for $30 less, subpar runtime, questionable reliability since there’s no way to replace a battery, not great on motor power.

A really nice piece of Kit. I had a Dremel before with a lead and it’s quite cumbersome but this one being completely mobile is really nice and easy to use. Looks nice and as well made.

I was debating between this and the other popular alternative and I’m glad I picked this one. It’s a much more ergonomic and aesthetic option.

Lightweight and Easy to Use – Perfect for Filing Dogs’ Nails. I’ve been using my Dremel Micro for quite a while, and it’s been such a reliable tool that it’s finally time for a replacement. Unfortunately, Dremel no longer makes that model, which made finding a comparable alternative a bit tricky. After searching for options, I came across the HOTO tool, and it’s turned out to be a great choice. One of the main things I wanted in a new tool was that it had to be cordless, rechargeable, and have a light to help me see while filing my dog’s nails. The HOTO tool checks all those boxes. It seems to have enough power for my needs, though so far I’ve only used it for filing my dog’s nails (I have other rotary tools on hand if I need something with more oomph). The HOTO is lightweight, comfortable to hold, and the battery lasts much longer than I expected before needing a recharge. I also like the sleek design and the case it comes with. Included with the assortment of tools is a specific attachment with various sized holes for grinding pets’ nails, though I prefer to leave it off, as I’m used to doing it without one.In some ways, the HOTO is even better than my Dremel Micro. Unlike the Dremel, it doesn’t have the knurled collet that could sometimes catch on my pup if I wasn’t careful. One downside is that the exhaust vent is placed where I hold the tool, which can make it get hot after a while. I do like the speed dial placement on the bottom and the separate on/off switch, which lets me start and stop at the same setting. Overall, the HOTO is a well-built, reliable replacement for my old Dremel.

Great tool for the hobbyist and electronics repairs. I’ve been using this rotary tool for a few days now and I think is an excellent deal. it has a quality feeling and a very silent operation. Is excellent for small projects and being cordless, is easier to reach hard places.Take into account that rotary tools don’t have a lot of torque, keep that in mind, and you won’t be disappointed by the performance if this tool.

Does just about everything you need around the house. Perfect for odd jobs around the house …..when I can get it away from my wife and all her home projects. Need to purchase another one and keep it in my tool shed.

Great and affordable for hobbiest. Can’t complain for the price. Works well, comes with a carrying case and extra bits. I actually prefer the slightly thicker/bulky design comapred to their new more portable offerings, this fits well in my hand and is easy to control.
