Wow, unexpectedly great: edit great for pet hair too. The media could not be loaded. Been looking for a shower mat that is comfortable and soft. Need something easy to see in this shower, as there is not much light. If you live in Florida, chances are you have a shower like this. Sorry, it’s not the cleanest, but this review is about the mat.Have Neuropathy bad, but everything I have tried; doesn’t drain or it floats (and will not stay put) Some we have tried have suction cups so big, it is like walking on rocks.This mat is amazing. My wife loves it (a plus), it is soft (it literally has some grip to it on the top which is great), the design allows for great drainage, and most of all – it stays in place. When you step in the shower, this mat stays in place, and when your old that is a good thing.The material has a grip like feel to it on the top. Using shampoo and conditioner doesn’t make it slick either, it just drains right through.EDIT : this mat is still so awesome but has a new job -dog hair.Our fur baby has Cushing’s Disease and requires frequent medicated baths. This time of year she is also shedding so bath time should be a pain in the you know what, but not with this mat – the water still drains right out. Our dog is big, 142 lbs so there is a lot of hair; just let the hair dry on top of the mat and you can wipe it right off, but wait there is more lol. Some hair does go towards the drain, but just lift the mat up and you can wipe it right up. I put a very poorly shot video of me cleaning the dog hair up for you guys to see, and we have had company so the shower is a little dirty. On a serious note, this mat retains it’s grip on the floor of the shower just like day one and this is over a year later. It also maintains that grippy top layer for your feet. The mat has retained all the great features that made me love it in the beginningI can’t speak on the cleaning of it, as it is new, but out of the gate this mat deserves 6 stars and after it’s performance with dog hair it deserves 10 stars

OK, but a little short, Now Edited. As a bathtub shower mat it is a little shorter than I expected. If you have a bathtub shower and falls are an issue you might make a different choice. The surface is also a bit uncomfortable if you have sensitive feet or a peripheral neuropathy.Edited Review: I purchased the shorter size mat; thus, the comment above. This was my mistake. I purchased the larger size and it fits perfectly and provides a secure, non-slip surface. The surface is much more comfortable after breaking it in. I can recommend the product.

Perfect for shower. The mat covets most of the shower. It holds tight to bottom of the shower. It feels good to stand on and it keeps my feet from slipping. I added a drain screen under the center of the mat over the drain to keep hair from going into the drain. The mat holds the screen in place.
