I’ve been using my Jackery for a couple of months now to power my Starlink in my truck and recharge all kinds of batteries and speakers while out camping. This unit is super handy with the solar panels! They keep up to everything I plug in to it when it’s sunny. Would highly recommend this product to anyone who’s looking for portable power. On a side note: I need to praise Jackery for their customer service. This probably went on sale ($1399) a short while after I bought it ($1799.) I requested a refund from them and they were quick and professional in issuing one. After a ton of negative experiences on Amazon with uncooperative companies, this was a breath of fresh air.Thank you, Jackery!

Very well built. Compact power house. Will run a 42” tv and a Starlink for hours. A must have for power outages. Fast charging even with the solar panels. The ability to monitor and adjust the unit with Bluetooth is a nice feature. I have owned other units in the past but none as good as the Jackery 1000 v2.Good purchase.

Upon reception, the “generator” had 28% charge left (that was expected), so I tried the panels. And, of course, this is late november, the sky is overcast, and I am trying it from inside the house, definitely not optimal. But the panels were giving up to 20W, it may not be much but it showed me that they were working.I have since been testing it on various electrical items to check the longevity of a charge, and so far, I am impressed with this item. Now I will have to buy the car 12V adapter, it will prove useful from time to time.Note that you can connect a USB cable directly onto the solar panel cable.I ordered through Amazon, since I did not wish to create another account with Jackery. Upon purchase, Jackery contacted me to inform me that the shipping will come in more than one parcel. It was shipped and received within a couple of work days. The packaging is solid almost military grade.I definitely recommend this item.

Seller has reduced price by 800 dollars in just over 69 days. When I enquired about it, they stated they couldn’t do anything about it.I would suggest not dealing with Jackery and finding a different provider

Takes a long time to charge the unit. Not sure if this will be used. I will see the summer.

Good and quite powerful electric generator. This was newly purchased, so I can’t speak to longevity, but that’s rarely an issue with battery-based generators (unless the battery is bad). I have a nice 3500W gasoline-powered generator, but it’s an effort to set up – and one of the issues I have is a garage that ONLY has a powered overhead door and no other entry and the former owner lost the key long ago (and she said the key didn’t work anyway). So on a power failure – how to get the door up? I can open a window from one bedroom into the garage, but it’s a 6′ drop to the floor and at 78, I’m getting a bit old to climb through a small window to do that! This generator operated FLAWLESSLY – I ran an extension cord to the outlet that the overhead door was plugged into, turned off the 40amp garage breaker in the house (in case power got restored – don’t want to back-feed the generator!), and plugged a male-to-male extension (hard to buy now as idiots were electrocuting themselves with it, so you might have to make your own) into the extension cord and Jackery Generator. Hit the garage opener and Voila, door goes up and down easily – not seeming to even drain the battery much at all. This will be a life-saver for the next power outage, as if it’s extended, I need to get OUT of the garage to go to town to get more gas for my gas-powered generator. And for SMALL outages, this little unit will keep WiFI, TV, some lights going with minimal effort – and might even keep my Fridge going for several hours too. And I will bring this with me when I go boondocking in my little camper – especially since I have a 100W solar panel that should be able to charge this battery up!

Power lost with nothing plugged in. UPDATED REVIEW 6-8-25This Generator is very nice over all. It is lighter than most with the same power output. The features are great with the light and many inputs and outputs. Also this unit has a battery type that will outlast many competitors out there. As with all of these generators of this type that put out a nice clean Sine wave that protects valuable electronics you will see some extra capacity loss when outputting AC Power. When the AC switch is pushed on and the light comes on even with nothing pluged in it will give a loss to power capacity. You must acount for this capacity loss when estimating run time. 22% and higher capacitywill be lost runing an AC device pluged in to the AC outlet even if that device is turned off and the AC swithed on the Jackery is turned on. I updated my review after realizing that every one of these generators in the market do this.Works good. But if you turn on the 120 AC switch your Jackery will lose up to 47% of your battery in a 24 hour time period. And that is with nothing connected to it. The AC outlets use almost as much battery as what is plugged in to it. See for yourself. Turn on the power, then the AC Switch with nothing plugged in. Come back in 24 hours to see up to 47% of battery gone. With AC switch off you will have no battery power lost.

Reliable Power Anywhere: Jackery 1000 with Solar Panels. I recently picked up the Jackery 1000 with solar panels, and I couldn’t be more impressed. This portable power station is a game-changer for anyone who loves the outdoors or wants peace of mind during power outages. With a 1002Wh capacity and 1000W output (2000W surge), it easily powers everything from my coffee maker to my laptop and even a mini fridge. What really sets it apart is the solar charging capability. The SolarSaga 200 panels are lightweight, foldable, and surprisingly efficient—even on partly cloudy days. I was able to fully recharge the unit in under 5 hours with optimal sunlight, which is perfect for off-grid adventures. The design is sleek and intuitive. The LCD screen gives clear readouts, and the multiple output ports (USB-C, USB-A, AC, and 12V car port) make it incredibly versatile. I also love the built-in flashlight and the UPS mode, which keeps my devices running seamlessly during outages.Whether you’re camping, tailgating, or just want a reliable backup at home, the Jackery 1000 with solar panels delivers clean, quiet, and dependable energy. It’s an investment that pays off every time the lights go out—or when the trail calls.

Explorer 1000v2, love it. Why did you pick this product vs others?:I bought this to use as a power source when camping in Van. Can run my lights, charge my phone, and let me play on laptop all weekend if I pay attention to energy usage. Does everything I want. Bought two 200 watt portable solar panels, they charge it just fine. My only problem, and it’s on me, is I didn’t consider the weight. I’m old with bad back, both rotator cuffs torn,  and bad hip joint. I can pick it up to carry but I struggle to lift it. In hindsight I should have bought the 500 plus. Have since bought a Jackery 300 I can carry easily and use it to recharge the 1000v2. Power capacity:1070whPower source:Have charged with AC wall plug, and DC solarPortable:Weighs about 25lbs. Not that heavy, I can pick up and carry lifting with legs, but with my bad rotator cuffs in shulders hard to lift higher

Excellent camping or home emergency power source. I have several Jackery products and this one is my newest. Have had a chance to use it camping where it has powered my portable fridge and diesel heater and it has Worked really well. I recently used it during a random power outage to keep my home fridge running for 4 hours (when the power came back on). After nearly four hours the unit still had 80% power remaining. It should be noted that Jackery changed the charging ports design slightly from the last generation of solar generators and my older solar saga 100w panels would not pair with the unit to charge it. After reading through the manual and speaking to tech support, I ordered the small adapter plug and a new 12v vehicle plug and that corrected the issue. I feel that those items should be included in the original kit at time of purchase. Really happy with the newer tech in the unit and its functionality. For its capabilities, its not too heavy and packs easy into my vehicle without taking up needed space. Will be purchasing more Jackery equipment in the future.
