Fresh, average value. The Zero Sugar Special Dark Chocolate Candy Bulk Pack of Individually Wrapped Sugar Free Chocolate Candy Bars in Snack Size taste as expected. They arrived in good condition. I like the nutrition label and expiration date is on the bag. The chocolate tasted fresh. I would have liked the list of ingredients to be listed on the bag as well. While the zero sugar is not zero carb, it is still a better option than the full sugar version.The price and weight compared to other is a decent value, it is priced in the middle.

Sweet, smooth and tasty. First things first: Zero sugar doesn’t mean unsweetened! The Special Dark formula of Hershey’s chocolate is by far my favorite, since it is a bit more chocolatey and richer than their milk chocolate while still being smooth, creamy and much sweeter than most dark chocolate. Although this chocolate has no sugar, it is still just as sweet as the original Special Dark blend. It has a slightly different flavor, but you probably won’t notice unless you eat them one after another. The calorie count is comparable, as well.These are a good alternative for special diets that allow for sugar alcohols or artificial sweeteners but not sugar directly, and they still taste just as good. I personally have transplant-induced diabetes, so even though my disorder is regulated well by my medication I still prefer to consume less sugar if there is an easy alternative.Personally, I can barely tell the difference, and even my partner loves the zero sugar formula (and she’s definitely a sugar addict and usually prefers milk chocolate over dark chocolate). I’d snack on these all day if I was left to my own devices!

They’re fresh and sugar free. This is one of my favorite dark chocolates, especially because it’s sugar free. The chocolate is smooth and rich. I store them at room temperature, and the texture is always the way I like it to eat them. The size makes it easy for me to eat, and they’re individually wrapped, so I keep some in my jacket pocket and bag to eat when I’m not at home. It’s great for a quick snack.It’s a good bulk size, so there are more than enough that I cut some in small pieces and add them to cake and cupcakes. I also like to add one or two to my protein drink in the blender to give it a cocoa flavor. It makes it taste better, which makes it more enjoyable for me to drink. I like the quality of the dark chocolate from this brand.

Chocolate covered popcorn, anyone. Yummy! I’m not a diabetic, but ordered this because I consume way too much sugar and promised my doctor I’d explore ways to cut back. These are fresh and delicious. The only issue for me is a small one. The best by date is literally 9 months away and while sugar doesn’t really go bad, chocolate does. It’s typically best to consume chocolate within 6 months. Obviously if you order during the summer you’ll be likely to experience some melting, and if ordering in the winter they may need to sit indoors a bit to soften. Just something to be aware of. They can be used for snacking, baking, and melting over popcorn – which is one of my favorite ways to enjoy chocolate.
